MU - Randall x Niky - I'm here (1)

"You can't tell me what to do! So get a life!"

"I'm not trying to tell you what do do! 'm only try to warn you, because I'm worried about you!"

Is sad to see two good friends arguing like this, isn't it?
Randall and Niky both attended Monsters University as freshmen. They met on their first day, and soon became close friends.
Randall was a purple chameleon, who could change his body colour into anyother one, becoming invisible.
Niky was a young witch. She caused a lot of mess when she first arrived at the campus, since she looked exactly like a human, and monsters believed humans were toxic. But they soon learnt she was far from being one of them, and she quickly found a lot of friends, especially in the Oozma Kappa fraternity.
Everuthing was going fine, since Johnny Worthington, one of the seniors, noticed Randall' skills, and decided to ask him to join Roar Omega Roar, his association.
Randall, who since the first day had craved to be accepted by "the cool kids", immediately accepted. He expected Niky to be happy for him, sonce she had always support him with everything, but she reacted badly at the news. Since the first time she met Johnny and his mates, she saw them as nothing but jerks. So, she tried to convince Randall to quit with them, before they could hurt him as they already did with her OK friends. But her friend wouldn't listen a reason.

"You're only worried because you don't believe in me! If you did, you wouldn't be so araid! I know you think I'm a nobody!" he yelled

"Are you even listening at the things you're saying?" she asked in disbelief "I don't think you're a nobody, Randy! I believe in you, and I think you're the best. If I'm considered, it's just because..."

Randall narrowed his eyes "Say it."

Niky sighed "...because I care about you..."

Randall's eyes went wide open. He believed his friend was about to say she thought he didn't have it.

The girl looked at him "Can't you see I'm worrying for you just because I care?" she whispered, a sad expression on her face.

Randall opened his mouth "Niky, I..."

"What cute" commented a voice behind the girl, making them startle.

She quickly turned around, and saw who had spoken.

Johnny Worthington was standing at the door of Randall's room, his mates behind him. Chet Alexander, Johnny's best friend, entered the room and put himself between Niky and Randall.

"What's the matter, guys?" he asked, smiling widely

Johnny entered the room too "I think the matter is..." he said, getting next to Randall "That Boggs' little friend doesn't like us much..."

Niky shot him a killer look "Do you mind? This was a private conversation"

"Well, know I guess it's public!" exclaimed Chet, bursting out laughing.

Johnny put his right arm around Randall' shoulders "So, Boggs, are you going to listen to your friend? Are you gonna leave us and go make a nice drawing with her?"

Niky gritted her teeth. She knew Johnny was refearing at the time when, before Randall joined the ROR, they used to sit under a big tree and draw and read together for hours.

Randall look at Johnny, then at the girl. He didn't know what to say.

Johnny grinned and turned to her "Aren't you gonna give him someone of your advices?" he asked "We're sorry we interrupt your lovely little conversation, but you can continue even with us here, if you want... Me and the guys would love to take part in it..."

Niky looked at him with anger, but spoke in a calm tone "I don't need to tell him what to do, he knows what's best for himself. And don't worry, I was about to leave..." she turned around, and was about to leave the room, when Johnny stopped her.

"Wait"

She turned around "Yes?"

"I know you don't like us very much, but... if you ever decide to leave those Oozma Kappa loosers and join a real fraternity... our door is always open..." he said with a wide grin.

Now he was flirting!

Niky gritted her teeth again, but tried to not let her anger be seen.

Johnny had considered her a nobody when she arrived at the campus. But things changed, since he saw her at the simulator. She was able to turn into anything that scared a child. Her performance left everybody speachless, and he started to see her in a different light. She had exellent chances to become one of the most fearsome monsters of all campus, and he only wanted the best for himself. Too bad for him, Niky didn't liked him at all.

So she smiled at him, and only said "I think it's better if you close it.

You'll freeze, before I decide to join you. Have a nice day!" Then she left.

Johnny chuckled "I love challenges..." Then, he turned to his mates "Come on guys, let's order us something to eat. We need energy to always be on top"

Randall watched them leaving the room. he looked at the ground, thinking about Niky. He didn't like the way Johnny treated her. Like she was his own property...

"Aren't you coming, Boggs?" asked Johnny

Randall nodded his head. He loved her, but really didn't want to be left out. So he followed his "brothers", and left the room, closing the door behind himself.
